Royals' T Ball

Gage just finished up another successful season of T Ball. After Mike saw how well Gage did with me coaching soccer, he decided he would give coaching him in T Ball a shot. I think overall it went quite well.

I am by no means a baseball fan, but I have to say that T Ball is probably my favorite sport that Gage has played. I don't know if it is because I think Gage looks so adorable in his baseball hat or if it is because I can see that Gage truly enjoys playing. Gage has gotten really good at hitting the ball off a pitch. He doesn't hit hard very often, but he usually connects. I have seen Gage grow the most this year in his outfield play. He would usually play short stop or 1st base and sometimes it would be the Gage show in the outfield. I had to tell him to let other kids have a chance at getting the ball sometimes. Gage ran to almost every ball and knew to throw it to 1st base or to home. When he was the first basemen, he always called for the ball.

Landen and Tanner faithfully came to every game. They were Gage's biggest fans and watched the entire games.

Well, so maybe they usually didn't sit in their chairs for long. Thankfully there was a park nearby.

Tanner loves T Ball. The second we arrived he would run to home plate and grab a bat. He would then pick up a ball and place it on the T and try to hit it. Unfortunately he would keep trying to do this even once the games started.

Tanner is giving me his "look."

Best buds for life I hope. This is Gage's friend Zach and boy can he hit a ball!

All business.

Here's Mike coaching Gage on 1st base. You can tell Gage is listening to Mike's every word.

What a season! Can't wait for next year.

Wasn't he catcher last year? I remember the outfit. I wish I could watch a game!
