So last night, we hauled the entire family off to watch Mike's indoor soccer game. I had the bright idea of bringing a stroller for Tanner so I wouldn't have to hold him the entire time and he could see what was going on. Well, Gage and Landen thought it was the greatest thing in the world to stroll him around the indoor complex. Well, this boy named Camden had a toy push car and he kept running into Gage and Landen's legs. Gage went over to Camden's mom and said, "Can you please tell Camden to stop running into us. We are trying to go for a nice stroll and lull our baby to sleep. It is really hard to lull our baby to sleep with Camden's loud car running into us." How in the world does a five year old know what "lull" is? I don't think I have ever said "lull" in my life. Later on, Gage pushes Tanner over to me and I notice Tanner's hair is soaking wet. I asked Gage why Tanner was so wet. Gage simply replied, "Tanner was hot so we got some water from the drinking fountain and cooled him off." Poor Tanner. He doesn't have a chance.

Pirate Tom
I don't think my dad thought I was serious when I told him I was going to post a picture of him in action. This is Tom at his trade show in Cali last week. It was a pirate themed trade show and my dad got right in on the action. Chew Gum!

Minus Some Hardware
Yesterday, I got my screw removed from my knee. I think so far the hardest thing for me was not eating. Go figure. My first surgery started at like 8 am and I felt great afterwards. I was starving and ate right away. This surgery didn't start until 2 in the afternoon and I had nausea afterwards and didn't feel like eating. We also went grocery shopping Monday night and bought all this yummy food that I had to sit and stare at all Tuesday morning. I don't recommend doing that. Anyway, the surgery went great. I have been able to walk on it already but I can't unwrap it until tomorrow and then my stitches come out on Monday. I hope this does the trick so I can start playing soccer again soon. I think the screw is about 1 1/2 inches long, but the washer is what is gross. It has these spike things on it. I can't believe it went through my bone. The doc said it should take about 6 weeks before the bone seals the hole.

Too Fast Too Serious
Landen is completely obsessed with cars. Any kind really ranging from small hot wheels cars to big push cars. Mike and I thought he would enjoy the movies Fast and Furious. There are three in all and Landen's favorite is the second one called Too Fast Too Furious because it has a ton of scenes where police cars chase the race cars. Landen doesn't know how to say Furious so he is always asking if he can watch Too Fast Too Serious. Anyway, before we start the movies Landen has to gather all of his race cars, police cars and a few semi trucks and line them all up so he can act out the races in the film. It is really cute to watch him. Whenever I pass by his room, I pause and watch him act out the scenes. Well, I thought he just mimicked the cars but apparently he says a few lines from the movie. During a race scene it flashed to the drivers and at the exact time the actor said this next line, Landen said the lines right along with the actor: "That b---h! We're not going to let her win!" We had a long talk with Landen afterwards about naughty words. Kids are more perceptive than you think.

Tanner at 6 months
I can't believe Tanner is already 6 months old. The time has really flown by. He is such a good baby and I am so grateful. I don't think I could handle having three boys if it wasn't for him. We went to his checkup yesterday and he weighs 17 lbs 10 ounces. He is by far our chunkiest baby. Gage and Landen barely made the 20 lb mark by the time they were 1 year old. We almost weren't able to turn their carseats around. I don't think Tanner will have a problem. Tanner is also 27 inches long. He is in the 50th percentile in weight and 60th in height. Landen only barely made it on the charts for his weight at his 3 year checkup.

Tagged!
So I have been tagged. I usually don't ever answer the emails that have to deal with this kinda stuff, but I am getting into the spirit of blogging. The rules are to list 6 habits/facts about yourself and then tag 6 people at the end to do the same. So it is hard for me to talk about myself so sorry if the following is kinda boring.
1) As to really no one's surprise, I love chocolate. Well, sweets in general really. I could eat an entire box of thin mints in one sitting. Whenever Mike and I buy a box of cookies, we have to split it down the middle. He has recently had to hide his portion because I polish my half off in a day or two and then have been known to eat his.
2) This kinda goes along with number 1. I get up in the middle of the night and am hungry. So pretty much every night I go into the kitchen and search for treats to eat. This habit really is inhibiting my goal of losing weight.
3) I love to watch tv. Some of my favorite shows include Dancing with the Stars, Greys Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, and Heroes. Oh, a new favorite of mine is Rob & Big. That is one everyone should give a try.
4) I can't get enough of celebrity gossip. I don't know why. Mike makes fun of me, but I love watching Entertainment Tonight and Access Hollywood. I love to hear what's going on in Hollywood. I was sad for days when Heath Ledger died and I really wasn't that big of a fan of his.
5) I have a dream of running a marathon before I am 30. I only have a 1 1/2 years left before my time is out so I don't know if I'm going to make it.
6) My most favorite thing to do is sit on the couch and watch my crazy kids go wild in the house. Now that's entertainment.
I tag Brandy, Heather, Shawnee, Becca. ( I don't have 6 people sorry. I think everyone else has done this).

Wii Fun
Last Friday, some of my friends from high school came and hung out. It was a blast. We had yummy food and played the Wii into the late hours of the night. It was really fun catching up with everyone and I hope we can get together more often. Here are a few pics of us having fun with the Wii

Landen and Peyton had a ton of fun together. They stayed up until 3:30 with the rest of the adults.

It was way past Cami and Donna's bedtime.

Dan kept saying how the wii was Laura's deal. He didn't know how to hook it up or anything. From this picture, you can see he has played it many times before.

I was no match for 3 year old Peyton.

Finally a Nice Day!
Today has been one of the warmest days in a long time. I think we are in for more snow tomorrow so the kids and I took advantage and played outside.

Santa knew what he was doing by giving Tanner this car. Gage and Landen had so much fun pushing him around the block and as you can see Tanner loved it too!

Race faces on!

Valentine Cookies
I have felt kinda bad this year because Gage is so into Holidays and Valentine's Day has snuck up on me. I wasn't going to mention it to Gage until a few days before and we would just work on Valentine cards for his school class. Last week he came home and informed me that everyone in his class except us had Valentine hearts and decorations hung up in their houses. I asked him how he knew this and he said he saw all the houses decorated on his way to school. Quick little sucker isn't he? So that very day we cut out hearts and hung a few on our front window.
Thankfully, Nana Vickie brought over Valentine cookies that needed to be frosted and decorated. This was right up Gage's alley. He loves crafts. He took one look at the project and said, "Oh, I am so excited. Somebody pinch me!" Here are a few pics of how the cookies turned out.

I don't know if you can tell which cookie above is going to be Landen's.

Gage's masterpiece!

Can't Wait For Summer
Last summer the kids had a blast swimming. We looked everywhere last year for life jackets and couldn't find any. I think they are kinda like swimsuits and they come out in February and if you wait until June you won't find any. Well Mike and I were on top of it this year. Mike is pretty particular and we found the right ones at Sam's Club. The kids were so excited they had to run and get their swimming suits on with their new life jackets. Unfortunately they thought they could go swimming right then.
